#17_11 NOID „Echo Chambers“

Description: “Echo Chambers” is a multi-room version of the piece “Echo Chamber” by noid. It is an experimental setup with several physical spaces that are connected through communication devices that all share one virtual space. An echo-orchestra of performers is using their private communication devices as instruments, creating an ungovernable inferno of feedback, when the devices join the common virtual space with open microphones and the playback volume turned loud. The analogy to the often quoted phenomenon “filter-bubble” on social networks is apparent and non-coincident.

The performance will be realized with “Jitsi Meet” – a free and open source platform for audio & video calls, currently the maximum number of participants is limited to 15 members, due to technical reasons.
