Vienna’s THE WORRIED MEN SKIFFLE GROUP started out in the early 60s, playing a mixture of blues, C&W and skiffle. The then-progressive ORF got interested and asked them to record some songs in Viennese language. Their 1st 7″-single “Glaubst I bin bled” was an overnight sensation and often gets the credits for being the first “Austro-Pop”-release. “Wea ka Messa hod” is the b-side of their 3rd single from 1970.
